The challenge

Establishing a credible Net Zero pathway across complex corporate buildings

TfL wanted to establish its Net Zero pathway and understand its carbon flexibility potential. The challenge was to complete a data-led feasibility study across TfL buildings in London.

The solution

Half-hourly analysis of renewable generation and heat decarbonisation

Using the Quantaco platform, buildings were assessed for Solar PV and Heat Pump viability at a half-hourly level.

The existing CHP also provided cooling via absorption chillers, so the assessment considered the implications of replacing this system.
