The challenge

Decarbonising heat without compromising a complex operational estate

North Middlesex University Hospital wanted to maximise heat decarbonisation to help deliver its Net Zero targets. The challenge was to assess the feasibility of renewable generation, energy storage and heat decarbonisation across the entire campus, while working with a legacy estate and a PFI concession operating in parallel.
